The E2406 is a high performance Intel Xeon SMP server. It provides the best performance combining the latest Intel Nehalem-EX SMP processors with QuickPath Interconnect (QPI), DDR3 memory, network, I/O, PCI-Express and power efficient technologies. The E2406 can be configured to provide up to a 4 x 3.2Ghz 7500 series 8-core Intel Xeon processors, 512GB of DDR-3 memory, 18TB of storage to fulfill most HPC computational applications requirements. The E2406 2U Intel Nehalem-EX Xeon based rack mount server is an ideal choice for large scale compute clusters, visualization clusters, or web farms.
