The E1402TD is a mid range Intel Xeon server offering extreme density.  It provides the best performance at a very affordable cost with the combination of the latest Intel processors with QuickPath Interconnect (QPI), DDR3 memory, network, I/O, PCI-Express and power efficient technologies.  The E1402TD can be configured to provide up to a 4 x 3.2Ghz 5600 series 6-core Intel Xeon processors, 192GB of DDR-3 memory 8TB of storage to fulfill most HPC computational applications requirements.     The E1402TD 1U Intel Westmere Xeon based rack mount server is an ideal choice for large scale compute clusters, visualization clusters, or web farms.
