The HPC E4224 is a mid-range high performance storage optimized server offering an unbeatable storage density in a compact 4U form factor. This Intel Xeon based platform is ideal for storage farms, database, E-Mail and file servers.

E4224 supports up to 24 hot-swap drives supporting SATA 2.0, SAS, or SCSI HDDs providing up to 18TB of storage capacity in a compact 4U enclosure. With its unique combination of processing power and storage capacity, E4224 can be used across a wide variety of enterprise workloads.

E4224 features the latest Xeon 5000/5100/5300 series microprocessors from Intel with DIB (dual independent bus) technology, DDR2 FBD (Fully buffered DIMM) memory, PCI-Express and SAS/SCSI storage. It makes an ideal platform for applications demanding huge volume of storage.
